LinkedIn’s new syndication of network updates via RSS should be a hit, allowing an even easier way to keep abreast of colleagues.

It begs the question of whether business networking will need a business-specific feed aggregator like Friendfeed, which is aggregating feeds from over 30+ sites and gaining great consumer momentum.

A few possible responses:

  • Yes, business feeds will multiply and an business-oriented aggregator will be valuable
  • No, LinkedIn will be the dominant business activity feed and will not need an aggregator
  • No, business feeds will multiply but the existing all-purpose aggregators like Friendfeed will suffice
